Tax Commission, Mexican Consulate partner to provide tax information for Spanish-speakers
BOISE, IDAHO — Jan. 31, 2013 — Spanish-speaking Idahoans have several chances to get their Idaho tax questions answered at the Mexican Consulate in Boise, thanks to a partnership with the Idaho State Tax Commission.
The Tax Commission will have one of its bilingual employees at the consulate the first Wednesday of the next three months, to help Hispanic residents during the income tax filing season. The dates and times are:
- Wednesday, Feb. 6, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
- Wednesday, March 6, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
- Wednesday, April 3, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The Mexican Consulate is located at 701 Morrison Knudsen Plaza Drive, Suite 102 in the URS building complex (formerly Washington Group Plaza).
Residents who can’t attend any of the scheduled sessions at the Mexican Consulate can call or visit the Tax Commission Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and get help from a Spanish-speaking representative.
