IDAHO TAX COMMISSION EXTENDS TAX DAY HOURS IN IDAHO FALLS, POCATELLO, TWIN FALLS

BOISE, IDAHO — April 9, 2009 — The Idaho State Tax Commission will extend its office and phone hours in Idaho Falls, Pocatello, and Twin Falls on Wednesday, April 15 to help taxpayers meet the income tax filing deadline. Taxpayers can go to any Tax Commission office to drop off completed Idaho tax returns, make payments, have tax-related questions answered, and get state tax forms.

Taxpayers can also call (800) 972-7660 toll free to get answers to tax questions. And they can visit the Tax Commission's Web site at tax.idaho.gov to find tax forms, make payments, get answers to tax questions, and check on the status of their state refund.

7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
